MOU Labor Service

1. Foreign Labor Import Service (MOU)

We provide legal services for importing MOU foreign workers of Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodian nationality. We assist in preparing the work visa documents for these workers and coordinate with their home countries to facilitate their deployment to workplaces in Bangkok and the surrounding areas. This not only provides convenience for employers but also significantly reduces traditional foreign labor-related issues. Our team of experts is always available to offer guidance and address various concerns related to foreign workers throughout the contract period.

2. Documentation Services at Every Step and Document Preparation for Worker Identification or for Handling Previous Illegal Cases (Recycling)

Our services encompass document preparation for foreign workers at every stage, including the 90-day reporting, visa renewal, work permits for years 3-4, visa extensions (in the case of completing a 4-year term), and addressing any issues related to illegal workers (recycling). The process of preparing MOU documents can be approached in two ways: either the employer handles it themselves or our company takes charge of bringing foreign workers into the country, providing document services and facilitating various documentation processes. This method is not only convenient but also time-saving, as employers are only responsible for document preparation.

3. Pink Card Renewal Service

Pink card foreign workers are those who have been granted permission to reside in Thailand and possess a work permit (pink card). However, as of March 2020, the work permits for foreign workers holding pink cards are set to expire. Without proper renewal procedures, foreign workers would be required to return to their home countries. The renewal process for these workers, in a special case of creating an MOU, allows foreign workers to renew their documents directly in Thailand without the need to travel back to their home countries.

4. Document Preparation Services for Foreign Workers Already Employed

We offer services for accepting MOUs in cases where Burmese, Laotian, and Cambodian nationalities are already employed. Customers simply need to sign and pay for these services, ensuring legality, speed, and reliability.

5. Visa and Work Permit Extension Services

Our services encompass the preparation of documents for foreign workers, simplifying and streamlining the documentation process for both employers and workers.

6. Care and Consultation on Employing Foreign Workers

Along with Dispatching Interpreters for Coordination Throughout the entire 4-year duration of the foreign employment contract, our company provides consultation and support. We dispatch interpreters (language coordinators) to assist employers in translation, education, and communication with foreign workers. This support ensures that employers and foreign workers can work together to their full potential.

A foreign worker MOU

A foreign worker MOU, which stands for Memorandum Of Understanding, is an agreement between the Thai government and the countries of origin such as Burma, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. It allows for the legal import of labor to work in Thailand. Under this agreement, foreign workers are permitted to work in Thailand for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend for an additional 2 years, totaling 4 years. Once the 4-year term is completed, they can proceed with importing new workers through the MOU process without the need to return and wait in their home countries for an extended period.

When importing labor under the MOU, there are typically two groups of workers:

  1. New workers from the countries of origin: These are foreign workers who are new to Thailand and have not been previously employed by Thai employers.
  2. The Illegal labor group and workers without legal status: This group may include workers who have overstayed their employment with a previous employer by more than 15 days, or those who have been notified of their departure by their previous employer but have not left the country.

The process for handling these various groups involves their return to their home countries to re-enter the MOU system. Upon their return, they will receive a 2-year work permit with a hard card (E-Work Permit). This system helps regulate and manage the legal employment of foreign workers in Thailand.
